Die hier vorgelegte Dissertation stellt ein Modell vor, das als Ausgangspunkt für curriculare Vorschläge zur Entrepreneurship Education dienen will. Basierend auf den verhaltenstheoretischen Ansätzen von Shapero, Ajzen sowie Krueger/Reilly/Carsrud zielt das Modell auf die För derung des Machbarkeitsempfindens und der Wünschbarkeit bezüglich einer eigenen Unternehmensgründung ab. Um diese generelle Zielsetzung weiter zu spezifizieren wurde das Rubikon-Modell der Handlungsphasen von Heckhausen aufgegriffen und um interessentheoretische Überlegungen er weitert. Auf diese Weise entstand ein Phasenmodell, das Handlungs empfehlungen für eine langfristige Entrepreneurship Education vorgibt. Auch wenn diese Arbeit grundsätzlich auf das deutsche Bildungssystem abzielt, kann der in ihr enthaltene Ansatz als Grundlage für übrige Bildungssysteme in Europa gesehen werden. Dies wird nicht zuletzt durch das eng mit dieser Arbeit verknüpfte Leonardo da Vinci EU-Projekt `DESIRE gezeigt.
